At the March X-GEN Congress, Samuel Levy presented a comparison between Sanger Whole Human Genome and Targeted Genomic Enrichment in NGS. Among his conclusions were that NimbleGen exome capture, coupled with 454 sequencing, provides high coverage of the exome, with increased precision of variants detected (including variants not previously detected by WSG-Sanger sequencing).
